Launched in 2005 by The Coalition for Music Education, Music Monday is one of the world’s largest single events dedicated to raising awareness for music education.
WHY DOES IT MATTER?
Because music matters and music programs create vital communities. Our young people deserve the success and benefits from learning, creating, and making music. Canada’s heritage and cultural future is in our classrooms! At UHE students are celebrating Music Monday with an Art Starts with V’ni Dansi Metis Dance experience. V’ni Dansi is a Vancouver-based traditional Métis and contemporary dance company dedicated to sharing the dances, stories and culture of the Métis.
