University Highlands Elementary School has a vibrant and active Parent Advisory Council (PAC). All PAC events and initiatives are undertaken to build our school community and to fundraise in support of school programs.
PAC work is volunteer-driven, and we are always eager to connect with more UHE parents and guardians who want to get involved.
The PAC makes possible:
- The school Roots2Grow gardening program with award-winning garden educator Pablo Vimos
- The school hot lunch program (Tuesdays and Thursdays)
- Popcorn days
- Community gathering events such as movie nights
- Financial support for field trips and school-wide specialty programs
