Literacy Week at UHE will be Feb 3-7th! Please see below for a list of the activities we have planned:
Monday, Feb 3rd: Teacher Swap for a Story! I wonder which teacher will be joining your class today to share one of their favourite picture books?
Tuesday, Feb. 4th: Pod Reading Picnic- bring your favourite book (and a flashlight, if you want!) and get ready to read in the pods with friends from the other classes!
Wednesday, February 5th: Wear Words Wednesday – Wear clothing with words on it!
Thursday, February 6th: Decorated Door I Spy – The classes have been working to decorate their classroom doors with images from their favourite books and characters- get ready to play “I Spy”today!
Friday, February 7th: Book swap – classes will be popping into the Book Swap to find a new (gently used) book! Families are reminded that we are collecting books all week… so please send any gently used books that you have at home collecting dust to UHE, so that we can get it in the hands of another student!
All week- Family BINGO- please see the BINGO card that your child brought home.
