Terry Fox Run!

We’re excited to announce that our annual Terry Fox Run will take place on Friday, April 17th in the afternoon. This year, we’ve chosen to hold the run in the spring to align with the timing of when Terry Fox started his journey.                                                                                                                                          Please ensure your child comes to school that day dressed in appropriate clothing and footwear, as we will be running rain or shine – just like Terry did! Also, kindly send a water bottle with your child to stay hydrated during the run.                                                                                                                                            In the lead-up to the event, we will be collecting donations for the Terry Fox Foundation. You can send cash with your child on the Thursday/Friday this week or the event week. We are hoping to raise at least $2 per student ( a toonie for Terry). Alternatively, donations can be made online through our school’s fundraising page: UHETerry FoxSchool Page. Feel free to reach out to extended family members who may also want to contribute!                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                              As part of our school-wide participation, we’ve been aiming to collectively run 7,821 km.
