Winter Concert Week

All the students at University Highlands have been working hard to prepare an exciting performance for you on Tuesday and Wednesday this week. Odd divisions will be performing on Tuesday, and even divisions will perform on Wednesday. Emails have gone home with details about costumes, tickets, dropoff/pickup protocols, and audience entry. Please remember to bring your tickets to the performance you are attending. There will be no entry to the evening performances without a ticket.

Here are some reminders about drop off and pick up:

What time does my child need to be at school for the evening performances? 5:30pm

Where does my child meet their class for the evening performances? At their normal line up location (with the exception of Division 1 and 2, who will be entering the school through the door by Ms. Coutts’ class)- the teachers will meet them there at 5:30pm.

Where do audience members with tickets enter the gym? At the COMMUNITY doors only. Doors will open at 5:30pm. Please DO NOT enter the school with your child and walk though the hallways- we really need them to be clear as we prepare children to get to their starting locations.

Where will I meet my child after the performance? At their normal dismissal door- the teachers will bring them as a class to meet their adults there. Families watching the performance will exit the gym by the community doors, and walk around to the students’ line up locations. For afternoon performances, students will be dismissed as usual at 3pm. For evening performances, students will be dismissed at the end of the entire concert.

What time should I return for pick up if I drop off my child for their evening performance? (for parents who do not have tickets for the evening show) We estimate the show will be approximately 30-40 minutes in length. Please meet your child at their line up location around 6:35pm.
