Fall Registration 2021 – Programs of Choice

It’s time for students to make plans for the 2021-22 school year. There are many resources available to help them and their families consider the options.

Registration is in February for priority placement in most Programs of Choice for the next school year.

Virtual Information Sessions

Virtual information sessions are a great way to learn more about electives and Programs of Choice.

Secondary sessions begin on January 14, with an information evening put on by Career Education about programs led by their departmentEach high school is also preparing its own virtual session or informational video to share information about opportunities at their school.

Programs of Choice

Programs of Choice allow students to explore their interests, support their strengths or get exposed to a career. The Burnaby School District offers dozens of options, with many at the secondary level put on in partnership with higher education institutions or industry. For most programs, registration takes place in February for the following school year.
